Things not to bad with business but the more work the merrier!

Sorry for our poor updating of our blog. We have been really busy at our new workshop getting things up and running!
Hello, haven't 'blogged' in a while, sorry about that! We have been so busy completing our first big commission at the Parlour Cafe, Westport, Dundee. We have kitted out the cafe with table tops, Semi Schlong lights and a hanging system on the wall. It was great fun, and really good to see our work in a commercial place.
Just back from London where we exhibiting at a new alternative to New Designers...Free Range in the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane. Although we were unable to take down our objects, the overall experience was great! Thanks to the people who took time to listen!
Added another few schlongs to our bed post!
Hopefully visit the big smoke again soon, maybe next time we will have our very own exhibition - offers welcome!
Apologies for the poor updates of our blog!
Twig have been very busy since the opening of our degree show in May. We are both now proud owners of 1st Class Honours Degrees, and have just had our graduation last week, 25th June.
We are not quite finished with college yet as we have had a number of commissions from the degree show and have recently been commisssioned to design furniture for the Parlour Cafe in Dundee!
A huge thanks to the people who have invested in our work, your orders will be ready soon!
Well its only two weeks on Wednesday until assessment. We are powering through at the moment getting lots done each day. Got some brilliant photographs on friday, but we don't want to put them up just yet so you get to meet our pieces in person first! The table is the only thing we have left to finish, then its all attention to presentation. hope you're looking forward to the 22nd May <opening night> We can't wait!
3 weeks on Wednesday till our assessments!
Workshop has been lovely and quiet over the last couple of weeks so we've been full steam ahead! Completely finished our long schlongs, 4 big ones and 4 short ones in total! Looking pretty slick if I do say so! The frame of our table is all constructed, so just got our pivoting arms to do!
Eventually things are coming together!
Today we recieved our sprayed schlongs from Bentleys! Overall a good job minus 2 sets of legs which were a different colour, haha they're on the mend though!
Cracking on with the table which is reassuring, 6 weeks yesterday to our assessments!
What a lovely day it is today!
We have made good progress with our table today, so feeling very positive and suprisingly on the ball for a monday! This week we hope to get our sprayed schlongs back so keep checking for up-to-date photos of those! A wee visit to the Vision building so hopefully get our space marked out for our show!
Cheery!
This week we have sent our schlongs away to be sprayed - VERY exciting! Thanks to Bentleys, hope it turns out ok! Been experimenting again, sanding steel, amazing finish but my goodness it takes ages! The weeks are disappearing fast, degree show will be tomorrow before we know it.
Check our homepage for details of the degree show and if your lucky you may even get a private invite!
Only 8 weeks on Wednesday till our final assessments! Last week saw the completed structures of 12 Schlongs. This week focusing on our dining table, possibly named "Mahogany/Monogamy?".
P.s Cheers to everyone who has taken the time to forward our website onto their buddies!
We also had a trip to Falkirk Wood last week, where we often get our wood from. We bought a few big planks of inch thick Scottish Oak to use in our next project. For photos see the 'Trips' gallery.
We had a wee trip to Dunkeld a week or so ago, to a wood warehouse that stocks sustainably sourced exotic and tropical wood. we got some Purple Heart and some Sonokeling Rosewood (not snorkeling, as we thought it was for days, must admit, it does have a better ring to it) to experiment with.
We're back in action in the workshop!.. today we are doing some experimenting with steam bending wood! we will be back with pictures so you can see how we get on.
